It’s 6:00 AM in the morning.
Satan tempts me through my mind.
It’s time to rise.
But oh no!
He offers me the cool, warm and cozy bed.
Temptations, I want to sleep on.
To sink deep in carnal pleasures.
Then I think…
Adam & Eve were tempted too.
Through the snake…
And the fruit from the forbidden tree
They chose the fruit and were damned.
And it’s the same thing here…
The consequence is clear.
It’s damnation.
I’ll be reactive and the day will be a failure.
It only means more broken dreams.
It’s ONLY tomorrow when I’ll have the chance to start again.
Oh No!
I don’t want that.
I want to start now, today.
I look deep within me.
And I find the courage to say NO
to the tempting cozy bed…
And the forbidden fruit.
