Hey Guys,
So a lot of people wanted to know how they can shoot high quality videos with their phone and I thought I could share the system that I figured out…
Here’s what you’ll need:
– An excellent phone that has a good selfie camera.
– A tripod that is incredibly flexible, light-weight so you can take it whereever possible and use it to shoot videos.
– A phone holder that will hook your phone to the tripod.
– A collar mic that will connect from your camera to your phone. (Some people use another phone in their pocket to capture the audio), but I don’t recommend that. It’s double-work to sync it.
1) Tripod:
AmazonBasics has an excellent tripod:

Buy the 50 inch one if this is not available. It’s okay.
2) Phone Mount:
Here’s one:

3) Mic:

You can order extension wires later on if you want more distance.
In most cases, you won’t need it because the tripod can be positioned such a way that you really look good even with just a 3 feet distance.
I have shot several videos using this, I don’t have any selfie videos on youtube for proof.
Here’s a video that I shot using the exact same system except the phone wasn’t on selfie mode and was facing me directly:

PS:
1) How To Tell If Your Video Is Really Good?
– Transfer that to the computer, and then see how it looks.
2) Which phones have the best camera?
iPhone has the best as far as I can tell. But I also think some of these android phones with selfie-cameras and the high-end ones like One Plus is also good (and Samsung).
I had an Android for a long time, but it was never good enough.
3) How to convert your videos:
– Your videos on the phone would be 1 GB – converting them would take some steps. It’s simple with a free software called Handbrake.
In another message, I’ll share how to do it.
